Pixelator Electric Ukulele

The Pixelator is a bespoke solid body electric ukulele with a painted douglas fir, meranti or sugar pine reclaimed timber or selected timber body, maple neck and your choice of maple, curly maple, birdseye maple, or wenge fret board. It features two single coil pickups, a 3 way pickup selector and volume and tone controls and a traditional barrel saddle style bridge

Available in 17″ tenor scale or 19″ baritone scale. Also available with a 20″ scale length neck. 4 or 8 string versions. We also make lefties.

Available in solid or thinline semi hollow body in a wide range of colours and finishes including oiled reclaimed Burmese teak, burst finishes ,time warp, paisley, gold leaf and many more.

A double p90 model is also available.

Adjustable saddles and hand-carved bone nut.

The uke is ready to rock out of the box, fully set up with a comfortable low action.

Padded gig bag included.

The body measures 9.8″ x 12.1″ (250mm x 310mm) and is just under 2″ (50mm)thick. Total length for the tenor is 27.5″ (700mm), for the baritone it is 29.5″ (750mm).

The tenor guitar version has a larger body which measures 11.4′ x 14.2″ (290mm x 360mm), still at just under 2″ (50mm) thick. Total length is 34.25″ (870mm).

Most of the parts are created in-house from scratch, including the bridge control plate, pickups and the neck.

The pick-ups are hand scatter wound and wax potted – i.e. they are soaked in hot bees wax – giving them a distinctive tone with no unwanted feedback. Alnico 5 magnets are used.

The woodwork is hand-routed, sanded and spray painted in-house.

The total size is 710 x 230 x 55 mm. The nut is 35mm with a 9mm string spacing.
