Strings guidance

Uses regular electric guitar strings.

Common options: The middle 4 off of a set of 10’s for a baritone tuned DGBE, so 2,3,4,5. You can also put the first four on a baritone, to tune low GCEA.

Thinner strings can reduce tuning stability; thicker strings are an option though.

12s feel tight; 13s may feel very stiff. Preferences vary by player.
Lead time
Approximately 6 weeks. Standard builds are generally faster than full custom builds because bodies and necks are frequently in stock, painted or ready for finishing.
